Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, PASAN in Rivers State have threatened to go on strike within seven days, if issues they face are not addressed by the relevant authorities.
Chairperson of PASAN, Comfort Opuene and Secretary, Amonia Amaso disclosed this is in a signed communique.
The workers are demanding for the payment of their consolidated salary structure amongst other things.
They said despite the increase of the Assembly’s overhead by the state government, the Management of the Assembly has refused to pay up their consolidated salary structure.
