Nigerian-British singer and songwriter Mark Yinka Orabiyi, popularly known as Talay Riley, has died at the age of 35 after a fatal stabbing in East London.
According to local media reports, the incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Friday on Pankhurst Avenue in Silvertown. Emergency responders rushed to the scene following reports of the attack, but the Grammy-winning artist could not be revived.
Authorities have since launched a murder investigation, with homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command leading efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
