The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with a fatal road accident that claimed the life of a 21-year-old woman Eno Udosen inside the Rivers State University (RSU).
The Command’s spokesperson, ASP Blessing Agabe, in a statement disclosed that the suspects are currently in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.
According to Agabe, the accident occurred near the Road A area of the university’s main campus in Port Harcourt. She added that the victim’s body has been deposited in a mortuary pending further investigation.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has called on authorities to ensure that justice is served.
The police have assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that anyone found culpable will be made to face the full weight of the law.
