Tottenham Hotspur have sacked head coach Thomas Frank after just eight months in charge, following a poor run of results in the Premier League. The announcement was made on Tuesday, 11 February 2026.
Frank departs with Spurs sitting 16th in the league, only five points above the relegation zone, after a dismal run of two league wins in 17 matches. The decision followed a 2–1 home defeat to Newcastle United, which intensified fan criticism and calls for his removal.
Despite some success in European competitions earlier in his tenure, domestic struggles dominated Frank’s spell at Tottenham, ultimately leading to his exit.
His departure marks yet another managerial change for Spurs, who are searching for their sixth permanent head coach in seven years, highlighting instability at the club.
The team has yet to announce a replacement, but the search for a new manager is expected to begin immediately as Spurs aim to climb out of the relegation zone.
