The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, has said that there are two types of hoodlums wrecking havoc in the society, Today.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill in a statement on Monday, said Political Hoodlums (PH), and And Unknown Gunmen (UG), are two sets of evil eating up the Nigerian society.
He said the activities of Political Hoodlums are what gave birth to Unknown Gunmen, as it is unwise to attack the former without the latter.
Georgewill said if we kill unknown gunmen without killing political hoodlums, that the former will still create more of the latter in the nearest future.
He said Political Hoodlums have been stealing the country’s resources to build personal empires, without providing basic amenities and other dividends of democracy to the people.
The RIVCSO boss, also condemned the incessant imposition of curfew in the state, as a way to curb insecurity.
He also said Security Operatives should be withdrawn from private individuals, and sent back to the streets to adequately secure lives and properties.
