A reported gun battle broke out on Thursday night between individuals believed to be from the Eleme and Okrika communities in Rivers State.
Videos circulating on social media appear to show armed men, reportedly from both communities, exchanging gunfire. However, the authenticity of the footage and the identities of those involved have not been independently verified.
The cause of the incident remains unclear, and security agencies have yet to issue an official statement.Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command have not been successful.
