The Rivers State Civil Service has commended Gov. Sim Fubara for reviving facilities at the state secretariat.
Head of Service, George Nweke during a church service on Sunday in Port Harcourt to begin activities marking the Civil Service Week described Fubara as a man of his words.
He said, the governor had visited the secretariat two days after he was sworn in and promised to restore ailing facilities.
According to him, restoration of facilities at the secretariat have enhanced the productivity of civil servants.
He described the governor’s two months in office as visionary adding that civil servants in the state are not suffering as a result of the subsidy removal due to steps taken by him to cushion its effect.
