The Federal Government of Nigeria, has said that social media platforms, Twitter inclusive will have to register as businesses in Nigeria.
Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed made this known in a chat with journalists on Wednesday.
He said registering as a business is one of the conditions Twitter must meet before the ban can be lifted.
Lai, explained that the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey has reached out to him for discussions, as he accused the micro-blogging platform of funding the #EndSARS Movement.
He also accused the social media giant of being used as a platform by few persons to threaten the corporate existence of Nigeria.
