Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has reacted to the defeat of celebrity businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu in the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primary election in Imo State.
Cubana Chief Priest had contested for the APC ticket to represent the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections but lost to the incumbent lawmaker, Canice Nwachukwu.
The nightlife promoter and Imo State Coordinator of the City Boys Movement secured 14 votes in the exercise.
Following the outcome of the primary, Seyi Tinubu took to Instagram on Sunday to encourage Cubana Chief Priest, urging him not to be discouraged by the setback.
“Bro, sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up @cubana_chiefpriest. We know what you are capable of achieving,” he wrote in the post later reposted by Cubana Chief Priest.
