The Senate will Today Monday, 31 2023 begin the screening of ministerial nominees.
The red chamber disclosed this in a statement few days ago when it revealed the list of nominees.
The list is dominated by former governors and ministers who are expected to take a bow and leave as was obtainable in the past.
However, according to Sunday Vanguard, Senate Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele and Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Yemi Adaramodu, are saying that the screening of the nominees would be thorough as there would be “no take a bow and go” as was obtainable in the past, the former Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, disagreed, saying that nothing new would happened.
