The Senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District, Barry Mpigi has presented car gifts to Paramount rulers in Tai LGA of the state.
His media aide in a statement said the cars were handed over to the traditional rulers as part of the lawmaker’s commitment to the sustainability of peace and togetherness in the area.
He said the gesture is to restore prestige to the traditional institution, enhance good governance, peace and for ease of community leadership.
Barry Mpigi is the Chairman Senate Committee on Works.
