Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has inaugurated a taskforce against human trafficking in the state.
Wike who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry said human trafficking is a crime against humanity. He also stated that his administration is committed to eradicating the problem from the state.
The governor commended the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons for their relentless efforts at ensuring that the country is free of such inhuman act.
