More reactions have trailed the defection of former Majority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Chidi Lloyd from the APC to PDP.
Lloyd, a former loyalist to the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi announced his defection yesterday in a meeting with PDP chieftains at Government House Port Harcourt Yesterday.
Chairman of the PDP in the state, Desmond Akawor during the meeting commended Lloyd for the move describing him as an asset to the party.
A chieftain of the PDP in the state, Sergeant Awuse described Lloyd as an intelligent and vibrant politician. He described his move to the party as a “big asset to us and the people of the state.”
Factional Chairman of the APC, Igo Aguma on his part, said Lloyd’s defection is regrettable as he was instrumental to the growth of the APC in the state.
