The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Paulinus Nsirim has warned youths in the state against perpetrating violence.
Paulinus made this known during a one day sensitisation of youths in Port Harcourt. He charged the youths to contribute to the development of the state and not otherwise.
Nsirim charged the youths under the auspices of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), to be at the forefront of sensitising the people against the coronavirus. He said as the leaders of tomorrow, the government has decided to partner with them in fighting the virus.
The state chairman of NYCN, Chijioke Ihunwo in his remark assured the state government of their total support to defeat the pandemic. He commended the governor for proactive measures taken so far, to rid the state of the dreaded COVID-19.
