The Rivers State University, has said that academic activities would take off from its three new campuses in Etche, Emouha and Ahaoda Local Government Areas, in May.
Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Nlerum Okogbule disclosed this during a visit to the campuses yesterday, to ascertain the level of work done.
According to him, contractors have been given till the end of March, to deliver and handover the projects.
He noted that some of the projects are 90 percent ready, adding that most of them would be ready in March, and be ready for commissioning in May as promised.
He expressed satisfaction at the level of work done by the contractors and that Governor, Nyesom Wike is committed to the completion of the projects on schedule.
Prof. Nlerum commended the state governor for his developmental strides at the school and the state at large.
He explained that the institution is working with the governor’s directive to ensure timely completion of the projects.
