Students of the Rivers State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, have finally been allowed access into the school premises.
The students, were locked out of the school today, as mobile Police officers prevented them from entering the school.
This was after management of the institution, had in a memo directed students to vacate the school premises, adding that the school had been shutdown for 24 hours.
According to sources, the students who were not satisfied with the decision had to alert the state government on the development, after which they were allowed access.
Meanwhile, the State Police Command says they did not prevent students from gaining access to the school.
The State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday in a statement on Saturday, said officers were only there to ensure law and order.
