The Rivers State Government will on Thursday 18 August, 2022 officially flag-off the construction of the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
The State Ministry of Works disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
It said the flagg-off will be performed by former Governor of Cross River state, His Excellency, Donald Duke at the invitation of Gov. Nyesom Wike.
The statement reads,
The construction of Flyover 11, Rumuokwuta/Rumuola Junction, Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt will be officially flagged-off on Thursday 18 August, 2022 at 11:00 AM by His Excellency, Donald Duke, former Governor of Cross River State at the invitation of His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS Africa, Executive Governor of Rivers State.
“The project will be funded by the Rivers State Government and constructed by Julius Berger Nigeria Plc; It is expected to be completed in ten months.
