The Universal Basic Education in Rivers State has reportedly suspended two public school Head Teachers for collecting illegal fees from students.
Chairman of the UBE, Dr. Fynface Akah disclosed this in a statement Today.
He said the Head Teachers are that of Community Secondary School, Rumuaholu and Community Secondary School, Okoro-N’udo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, Universal Education in the state remains free as no student is expected to pay for registration.
He urged teachers and principals to desist from the act as anyone caught will be dealt with.
