A suspected female drug peddler identified as Angela Sunday, has been arrested with illicit drugs worth four million naira by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in Rivers State.
Emmanuel Ogungbada, Spokesperson of the command, said the suspect was arrested at Otagwa in Etche Local Government Area of the state on Thursday April 6th 2023 following credible information by a whistleblower.
He said 800kilogram of illicit drugs were recovered from the suspect.
He also said three suspected drug peddlers comprising two males and a female were arrested at the weekend at Eleme and Ahoada LGAs with illicit drugs following credible information.
Ogungbada assured that the suspects will be charged to court after investigations.
