Ten governorship candidates of different political parties in the March 18th election in Rivers state, have filed petitions in court challenging the outcome of the election.
The candidates include, Tonye Cole of APC, Magnus Abe(SDP), Beatrice Itubo(LP), Tekena Iyagba(BOOT) and Sobomabo Jackrich of NRM, amongst others.
The candidates are challenging the victory of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Parry, Siminialayi Fubara.
