Rivers State recorded 46 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to with 11,705 with 10,827 discharged and 149 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on it’s official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 336 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -86, Benue-48, Rivers-46, Bauchi-41, Edo-25, FCT-19, Akwa Ibom-13, Ondo-12, Anambra-11, Ekiti-8, Kwara-7, Plateau-7, Bayelsa-4, Kaduna-4, Delta-2, Ogun-2 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 201,630 with 190,288 discharged and 2664 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
