Civil Society organizations, have called on the Rivers State Police Command, to investigate some officers of the Special Force Unit, captured in a viral video physically assaulting a young man at Stadium road in Port Harcourt.
In the video, the man could be heard screaming: “wetin I do” repeatedly, while he was tortured by the heavily armed mobile police officers.
Eyewitnesses were also heard, yelling at the officers to release the man, as he had committed no crime.
The Rivers State Police Command is yet to react to the incident.
