The Rivers State government has announced the official roll-out and activation of its Emergency Marine Ambulances, aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery across the state’s waterways.
The launch is scheduled for Thursday, 12th February 2026, at 10:00 a.m. prompt at Tourist Beach, Port Harcourt.
The event will be graced by Dr. Mina Jaja, Permanent Secretary, and the Honourable Commissioner for Health, among other dignitaries.
This initiative underscores the state government’s commitment to improving emergency medical response and access to healthcare services for residents in riverine communities
