Chief Medical Director of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Henry Ugboma says Rivers State is dead, under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Ugboma in a statement in Port Harcourt few days ago, said Wike’s main and capital project is to talk against former Governor of the State, Chibuike Amaechi.
He said the Governor has concentrated the energy he would have used in developing the state, into talking against Amaechi whose achievements cannot be matched by him.
“It is obvious, that Gov. Wike is bereft of ideas since he has nothing to offer to Rivers People other than talking against Amaechi,” he said.
“Because of concentrating all the energies supposedly to be used in developing Rivers State into talking against Amaechi, Rivers State is as good as dead in terms of governance. It is obvious, that the living knows that he/she will die, but the dead knows nothing, hence Rivers State is dead and knows nothing for now until wike is out of office,” Ugboma added.
He furthermore, called on Rivers people to be patient and have faith in God that one day the state will be good again, as nothing last forever.
