The Federal Government of Nigeria, has asked residents not to pay for the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination as it is free of charge.

Abdullazi Abdullahi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, made this known at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, on Monday.

Abdullahi who said everyone that wants the vaccine will be vaccinated in the country, also alleged that some people are selling their vaccination slots.

“We are sustaining distribution of available commodities, PPEs and consumables to ensure availability at all times for end users at treatment centres.”

“Everyonewill be vaccinated free and everyone will eventually be vaccinated. There is no need to pay to be vaccinated.

He urged Nigerians to go ahead and take the jab without fear,as it has been certified and has no side effects.
