Port Harcourt — The Rivers State Ministry of Agriculture has announced the commencement of a free Anthrax Vaccination Campaign for livestock farmers and stakeholders. The exercise is scheduled to run from Monday, February 10 to Saturday, February 17, at the Livestock Demonstration Farms, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
The campaign, which kicks off at 10:00 a.m. daily, aims to safeguard livestock and prevent the spread of anthrax within the state. Livestock farmers are encouraged to ensure their animals are vaccinated during the week-long exercise.
