Rivers State has recorded four new cases of the COVID-19. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 21, with 2 discharged and 1 death.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known during its daily update of the COVID-19 in the country yesterday. The Centre further announced 386 confirmed new cases of the COVID-19 in the country.
Lagos recorded the highest number of the new cases in the country with 176; 65-Kano 31-Katsina 20-FCT 17-Borno 15-Bauchi 14-Nasarawa 13-Ogun 10-Plateau 4-Oyo 4-Sokoto 4-Rivers 3-Kaduna 2-Edo 2-Ebonyi 2-Ondo 1-Enugu 1-Imo 1-Gombe 1-Osun.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3912, with 679 Discharged and 117 Deaths. Meanwhile, the NCDC has warned Nigerians to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene so as to stop the further spread of the pandemic.
