The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on Governor Nyesom Wike to revive hospitals built by the former Governor of the State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a stakeholder of the APC, made this known in a statement issued yesterday in Port Harcourt. Eze noted that the health centers need to be revived the current administration in order to show their total commitment to protecting Rivers people from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
He commended the SPDC for its support in curbing the spread of the virus in the state and called on the multinational’s support towards ensuring that the machines it donated were successfully installed.
Eze commended the CMD of UPTH, Prof. Henry Ugbomah for his efforts in attracting the testing machines to the state. Meanwhile he frowned that political motives were being read to Ugbomah’s efforts. He praised Prof. Henry for reviving the hospital since his assumption as CMD.
The APC chieftain also thanked the CMD for working with seasoned health practitioners to ensure the success of his administration.
