The Police in Rivers State says it has arrested some members of a kidnap syndicate, over the abduction of one Adiele Emmanuel who hails from Delta State.
Spokesperson of the command, Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, on Friday.
He said the suspects were arrested at a hotel in Oyigbo Local Government Area, where the victim was held hostage.
This was after they lured him from Delta State to Port Harcourt on Facebook, pretending to offer him a job.
Omoni, said the suspects will be charged to court and that justice must be served in the matter.
He stated that the command is out to end all forms of crime and criminality in the state, and urged all those involved to desist from such acts.
