The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu says the command is ready to eradicate cultism in the state.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Koko disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.
He warned youths to desist from cultism as anyone caught will face the full wrath of the law.
Meanwhile, the Police says it has arrested a 20-year-old male cultist, Gift Justice Hart in Bonny Local Government Area of the state.
Koko said the suspect reportedly got initiated into cultism at the age of 17 to confront his mother’s partner for maltreating her.
The case has been transferred to the Anti cultism unit of the command for proper investigation.
