The Rivers State Police Command says it has arrested one of the state’s most wanted kidnappers simply identified as Daniel.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a statement shortly after the arrest of the kidnap kingpin.
He said the Police is currently investigating the matter to ensure they arrest other members of the gang.
Daniel was arrested after they had robbed a passenger boat at Asarama in Andonni LGA, which left one person dead and many injured.
According to reports, he was abandoned by his gang members after he had fallen into the water while they fled. He was saved by divers who identified him as one of the robbers and handed him over to the Police.
