The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission RSIEC, has announced date for the commencement of Campaigns for the forthcoming local government elections in the state.
The Commission in a statement yesterday, said campaigns would begin from March 12 2021, to April 14 2021.
RSIEC, urged the participating political parties and political leaders to play by the rules of the game, as it is not a do or die affair.
The Commission assured Rivers people that it would conduct a free, fair and credible elections without fear or favor.
In addition, it urged residents to come out in their numbers and vote for their preferred candidates.
