The Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board (RSPHCMB) has delivered its second pickup truck to Tai Local Government Area as part of efforts to strengthen primary healthcare service delivery across the state.
The delivery follows the earlier presentation of the first pickup truck to Degema LGA.
The Board said the initiative is part of its commitment to ensuring that all 23 local government areas in Rivers State are eventually equipped with pickup trucks to enhance supportive supervision and improve the delivery of primary healthcare services.
The vehicles are expected to facilitate effective monitoring and supervision of primary healthcare facilities, particularly in hard-to-reach communities.
The RSPHCMB reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to quality primary healthcare services across Rivers State.
