The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers state, has assured Gov. Sim Fubara of its total support in his quest to ensure peace in the state.
Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Sydney Gbara gave the assurance when the Executive Committee of the Party visited the governor at Government House, Port Harcourt.
Gbara warned all those hitting up the polity to stop forthwith and allow peace to reign.
The Governor, who commended the party leadership for the visit reiterated that he was not coerced into signing or implementing the resolution, adding that he did it for the sake of peace.
