The Management of Rivers State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, has announced the closure of the institution till further notice.
Provost of the school, Prof. Franklin Nlerum who disclosed this in a chat with journalists yesterday, said the closure is to enable them address some of the issues raised by the students.
He said the school is currently in talks with the state government to ensure a more conducive learning environment for the students.
The students were on Saturday denied access to their hostels as mobile Police officers barricaded the premises.
But, they were later allowed to enter, after spending hours outside the school premises.
