The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, has reacted to reports making the rounds that former minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has resigned from the party.
The Party’s Spokesperson, Chris Finebone in a statement Today, described the report as lie from the very abyss of hell.
He called on party faithfuls to ignore the fake news, as it is meant to smear the party leader.
He noted that the former Rivers Governor remains a committed member of the party, who is ready to work for the success of the APC.
“Just yesterday, evil people launched fake news concerning our leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi purporting that he has resigned from the APC. This is a lie taken from the very abyss of hell. Kindly ignore it and any such fake news that may be concocted and circulated in the media particularly the social media to smear the former Minister of Transportation,” he said.
“He remains a loyal member of the APC and he has re-iterated this at every opportunity and that he would work to ensure the Party resoundingly wins the 2023 elections,” he added.
