The All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has described the court ruling which declared as illegal the passage of the 2024 Rivers budget by the Edison Ehie-led Assembly as a victory for the people of Rivers State.
Acting chairman of the party in the state, Tony Okocha disclosed this in a statement shortly after the court ruling.
He called on Governor, Fubara to represent the budget to the Martin Amaewhule-led faction in the interest of Rivers people.
“The decision of the Federal High Court is a victory for the people of Rivers State, “as it has cleared the way for the Governor to present the budget properly,” he said.
