Many Nigerians especially from the Eastern part of the country, have taken to social media to urge Barbadian Singer, Rihanna to return to her roots.
This was after she revealed that she is originally an ‘Igbo’ woman.
The Forbes wealthiest female singer, had in a statement on her social media handle, disclosed that her mom once told her that is an Igbo woman.
“My mom told me that I am originally an Igbo woman. Igbo is a tribe in Africa,” she said.
The Singer, who is also an actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman is one of the best selling musicians of all time.
Her father is of American and Irish descent from Barbados, while her mom is an Afro-Guyanese.
