The People’s Democratic Party has described the N47.9trn 2025 budget as “anti-people” stating that its implementation would deepen insecurity, poverty, and hopelessness in the country.
The PDP in a statement after the budget presentation said it lacks transparency, as the President failed to disclose the Capital and Recurrent profiles
The party urged the National Assembly to reject the budget in its current form and instead, activate its legislative powers to rejig the budget and make provisions that prioritize the growth of the economy and the welfare of Nigerians.
