Projects: What Do You Want Me To Do Again? – Gov. Wike

Rivers State

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says it is only his administration that is still commissioning and flagging off projects across the country.

The Governor disclosed this during the flag-off ceremony for the dualization of the Azikiwe/Iloabuchi Road, by former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday.

According to him, he is happy when Rivers people are happy, adding that he has fulfilled all promises made, and will continue to work for Rivers people till his final day in office.

“All the promises I have made in Port Harcourt, let somebody come and tell me which one I have not fulfilled. Old GRA; I have finished, New GRA; I have finished, Ogbunabali; I have finished, Diobu I have finished, what do you people want me to do again?” he rhetorically asked.

He stated that politics is about accountability to the people, and that his own campaign has been “operation show your report card.”

“We are showing our report card. I am happy! What makes me happy is when I see our people are happy,” the governor stated.

He also said politics is not about alking too much, noting hat they are not like politicians who promise and fail.

Gov. Wike also said that with the things his administration has achieved, no right thinking person will want to associate with politicians who promise and fail to deliver.
