The Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Igochukwu Aguma has commiserated with the leader of the party in the state, Minister of Transportation, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, over the unfortunate passing of his elder brother, Elder Charles (Dede) Amaechi.

In a statement issued in Port Harcourt Sunday afternoon , the party Chairman expressed shock and consternation over the death of Elder Charles Amaechi, stating that his death at a time his elderly advice and experience is needed most has caused a vacuum that will be difficult to fill in his family.

The statement read in part, “the news of the death of Charles (Dede) Amaechi is a devastating one which has left all those who came in contact with him grieving. Elder Charles was a nice and amiable gentleman who conducted himself with dignity and respect. He will be missed by those who loved him and mourned by many across Rivers State. It is my prayer that God will give his immediate and extended family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”.

“I particularly condole with the Hon Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi over this shocking death and pray that the God of all understanding will console him at this difficult time”, the statement added.
