The Councilor representing Ward 17 in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Chigozie Woka popularly known as ‘Chi Boy’ has denied attacking the leader of Diobu Vigilante Group, in Awkuzu Mile 1 Diobu, on Friday.
The head of the local vigilante, group, Isaac Ikechukwu who is reportedly receiving treatment, in a chat with journalists alleged that the Councillor and his boys attacked and stabbed him on his manhood after a heated argument, over the forthcoming councilorship election.
He accused the councilor of using his political thugs to attack perceived political thugs in the area.
Meanwhile, Woka in a statement on Saturday, said the allegation levelled against him was politically motivated to smear his image, as the said vigilante head, works for his political opponent.
He alleged that it was the vigilante leader who tried to attack him during the incident, stating that he was drunk at the time.
He noted that it took the gallant effort of his boys to rescue him from the drunk vigilante leader.
