The Rotary Club of Port Harcourt has distributed foodstuffs to vulnerable families in some areas of the state. This is to help cushion the effect of the sit at home order by the state government.
The President of Rotary Club, Linus Iwuanyanwu made this known to news correspondents today in Port Harcourt.
Iwuanyanwu said members of the club donated the food items after seeing the effect of the stay at home order on some residents of the state.
The items which includes bags of rice, indomie, biscuits, garri and beans were distributed to vulnerable people at Abacha Road, Rumuigbo and some areas around.
The president commended the efforts of the government and equally called on the people to continue practicing good respiratory hygiene.
