The Federal Government has donated relief materials to victims of the Polo Club stampede in Port Harcourt, few days ago.
South South Zonal Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency, Godwin Tepikor in a chat with journalists, said the relief materials will be distributed according to laid down procedures of the agency.
He stated that the distribution will be done in collaboration with Kings Assembly and the State Emergency Agency, adding that they have a list of all those affected by the incident.
Some of the items donated includes, Bags of rice, Vegetable oil, seasoning cubes, yams amongst others.
Meanwhile, stakeholders have called on NEMA to ensure that all those affected by the stampede get the relief materials to ease their pains and sufferings.
