Spokesperson of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Comr. Solomon Lenu has accused the People’s Democratic Party of sacrificing a woman to end what he described as their demonic campaign at Wiiyaakara in Khana Local Government Area, yesterday.
Lenu, who disclosed this in a statement said the woman was knocked down by the convoy of the party chieftains in the area.
He described this season as the “season of disaster” when the Ogonis pay the supreme prize but goes home with nothing but a pat on the back.
“PDP sacrifice an Ogóni woman at wiiyaakara to end their demonic satanic campaign. The convoy that knocked her down didn’t even stop,” he said.
“Welcome to the season of disaster, when Ogóni pays the supreme prize but goes home with nothing but a pat on the back,” he added.
The state chapter of the party is yet to react to the incident, efforts to reach its leadership in the state have not been successful.
