Pastor Adeboye has learnt his support to government directive regarding the extension of lockdown for religious worship centres especially if it would lead to curbing COVID-19.
The lead pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) said this while delivering a virtual message at the July Holy Ghost Service of the church titled: ‘Let there be light 7’.
The clergy encouraged his listeners to make better choices and see the lockdown as a blessing as there are examples of such instances in the Bible. He also noted that in those instances, people emerged victorious and prosperous.
In his words: “if people know that this lockdown will lead to greater achievement and prosperity, they will embrace it with joy.”
