A passenger who assaulted officials of Ibom Air on a flight from Uyo to Lagos has been charged to court and remanded in the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The suspect, identified as Comfort Emmanson, was arraigned following the incident, which occurred during the flight.
Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, confirmed the development in a statement on Monday.
Moshood disclosed that Emmanson’s arraignment was part of efforts to enforce discipline and maintain order in the nation’s aviation sector.
