The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has donated a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs. Rachael Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area, following her rescue from kidnappers.
The vehicle was presented on Monday during a brief ceremony attended by the member representing Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi.
Mrs. Alamu is currently receiving treatment at the Military Hospital in Ibadan after regaining her freedom alongside other teachers and pupils abducted during coordinated attacks on schools in Oriire Local Government Area.
The gesture comes days after a viral video captured the emotional moment the principal, shortly after her rescue, asked security personnel about the safety of her husband and the whereabouts of her vehicle. She was reassured that her family was safe as officials comforted her following the traumatic experience.
Mrs. Alamu was among the teachers and pupils kidnapped on May 15, 2026, when gunmen invaded three schools in Oriire Local Government Area.
