The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, has called on Nigerians to support a constitutional amendment that would allow state governors to serve for three terms.
Chinyere, while expressing support for Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, said two terms in office may not be enough for the governor to fully address the challenges and damage he believes the state has suffered over the years.
In a statement, the OPM founder said, “It’s impossible for God to make a mistake.”
He added, “For me, I don’t think two terms is enough for Dr. Alex Chioma Otti to repair the damage in Abia State.”
Chinyere urged Nigerians to push their federal representatives to amend the Constitution to permit governors to serve a maximum of three terms.
“Please Nigeria, let’s push our federal representatives to amend the Constitution for three terms. We would be surprised at the great results,” he said.
