A media platform, Rivers of Possibilities, has named five politicians it described as the “faces of stingy politicians” within the political camp of former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
In a publication circulating on social media, the platform levelled allegations of selfishness, poor leadership and lack of impact against the politicians, who it said are influential in different local government areas of Rivers State.
The politicians named are Enemi George, Abouyaa Fubara, Allwell Ihunda, Chidi Lloyd and Lolo Opuende.
According to the platform, Enemi George rose to political prominence through his elder brother, Dr Dax George Kelly, but alleged that he has been perceived as “stingy and greedy” within Wike’s political faction in Asari-Toru Local Government Area.
On Abouyaa Fubara, the platform alleged that he prioritises himself and a few loyalists, claiming that members of Wike’s political family in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area have complained about his leadership style.
It further alleged that Fubara has failed to appoint supporters of other political leaders in the LGA and claimed that he had recorded little achievement in the past year.
The platform also listedPort Harcourt City Local Government Area chairman, Allwell Ihunda, whom it accused of being greedy and claimed that members of Wike’s political structure in the area have expressed dissatisfaction with his leadership.
Similarly, Rivers of Possibilities described Emohua Local Government Area chairman, Dr Chidi Lloyd, as an “anti-human policy” politician and alleged that residents of the area have continued to complain since he assumed office.
The platform also cited Lolo Opuende, whom it described as one of the “most selfish and purposeless” politicians in Wike’s political camp, alleging that he has had little impact on his constituency.
The publication did not provide independent evidence to substantiate the allegations against the politicians.
